Until today, Ubuntu 15.10 was available only as Daily Build ISO images, so the Final Beta is the first official development release that users worldwide can download and test. As you might know, some of the most important Ubuntu flavors, including Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu GNOME, Ubuntu MATE, and Ubuntu Kylin, participated in the Wily Werewolf development cycle with two Alpha builds and one Beta release. Powered by the recently released Linux kernel 4.2.1, Ubuntu 15.10 Final Beta is the first and also the last development build of the anticipated GNU/Linux distribution. Canonical's Adam Conrad had the great pleasure of announcing a few minutes ago, September 24, the immediate availability for download and testing of the Final Beta build of the Ubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) operating system.
